In these years of service to others, she has worked as Director of Personnel, Assistant Superintendent of HR, Interim Superintendent, and Chief Operations Officer in multiple large school organizations. In working directly with employees and leaders, she has acquired a key understanding of ‘Leading Through The Heart’, how to build employee ‘Loyalty’, and the knowledge to implement ‘Clear Is Kind’ communication.
Kim is passionate about supporting small business, nonprofits, educational institutions, and community business leaders to find the ‘Heart of HR’. She supports the personnel, the experience, and the resources for making business thrive with ‘Heart’. She empowers recruiting, training, evaluating and promoting teams of employees in order to sustain a viable organization. Kim helps create a workforce of excellence through executive coaching and planning.
Kim is skilled in organizations who host governing Board Members. She brings 15 years of experience specifically supporting leaders and Board Members in the work that they do for their organizations. This includes working with staff to prepare reports, presentations, and meeting agendas/documents/minutes for Board Meetings. Kim works with leaders to understand and support the work of Board Members and keep them engaged and informed of the work taking place within the organization as well as training Board Members of best practice governance skills needed in their role.
